Long career in teaching
His success is not surprising. As a university lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics Dr. Henk de Swaan Arons has almost 40 years of teaching and research experience. For more than ten years he has been a private lecturer in Mathematics, Statistics and GMAT.
From 1972 to 1992 he worked at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at Delft University of Technology. Then, until his retirement, he was an associated professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Erasmus University Rotterdam. At both universities, he lectured many courses in Mathematics and Statistics. He is an experienced teacher who can make Mathematics and Statistics accessible and understandable to students.
Under his supervision hundreds of students got their bachelor’s or master’s degree. As a researcher, he wrote many dozens of international scientific publications.
After his retirement, he successfully started as a private tutor in Mathematics, Statistics and GMAT. At present he lectures Statistics at Maritime Economics and Logistics (MEL) at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
