In addition to individual private lessons, PiNUTS also provides online classroom lessons. These are considerably cheaper and free for now. An online classroom lesson is given at an announced date and time.
Students can sign up for this and get access to the Zoom meeting prior to the online classroom lesson. During an online classroom lesson, the teacher deals with a specific mathematical topic that many students have difficulty with. For example, working with exponents or fractions, solving linear, quadratic or fraction equations, differentiation or logarithms.
The website 4mules.nl (both in Dutch and English) provides an extensive overview of the topics given at the online classroom lessons. The topics are explained with many examples and exercises.
At school after the lectures there is often no opportunity to have a difficult subject explained again, but many students certainly need it. The PiNUTS online classroom lessons meet that demand.
